Daring Cook – Eggs Benedict

Jenn and Jill have challenged The Daring Cooks to learn to perfect the technique of poaching an egg. They chose Eggs Benedict recipe from Alton Brown, Oeufs en Meurette from Cooking with Wine by Anne Willan, and Homemade Sundried Tomato & Pine Nut Seitan Sausages (poached) courtesy of Trudy of Veggie num num.
I enjoyed the challenge, it was a bit fiddly at times and not something I’d do unless I was really in the mood to do. Luckily for this challenge I had my Mom on hand to help(thanks Mom).
I don’t eat poached eggs, so I had a scrambled eggs Benedict which was equally as tasty, but didn’t look as impressive. I made Eggs Benedict a couple of times this month much to my husbands delight.
